f-64:
Warner Bros. announced today that they have decided to change the direction of the final film of the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II. Instead of creating the epilogue written in the book on screen, a new epilogue was written, in which Harry later in life becomes Harriet, a transvestite who lives down the stairs from Ginny all her life and washes her delicates. “It was an interesting choice to make, but Jo completely backed it up,” David Heyman, producer, has been quoted saying. “She loved the direction we went with it. She was skeptical at first, but we all found it really enhanced the true message of Harry Potter and in the end it sold her over.”
If Jo’s OK with it, I guess I can too.
